Wowy and designer Pham Dang Anh Thu are excited to be invited to attend and perform at the second night of Vietnam International Fashion Week 2020. They first got together in October, in a wedding exhibition. The song ‘Heaven’ the two harmonized the duet at that time was widely supported and praised by the audience.
The second time she went on stage as a singer, she was nervous. Pham Dang Anh Thu shared: “Many viewers are surprised that I am a designer but appear as a singer performing in another designer’s repertoire. I appreciate Nguyen Tien Truyen’s talent so I joined to support the juniors. We are not rivals but colleagues, so when we can, we are ready to help each other as much as possible. I hope the relationship of fashion co-workers will become closer and more intimate.”
The song ‘Save the Princess’ composed by Wowy was a challenge for Pham Dang Anh Thu because she had to show the true strength and inner strength in her voice.
Wowy plays the knight in black to ‘rescue’ Pham Dang Anh Thu on the runway. The rapper revealed that he composed the song ‘Save the Princess’ almost 10 years ago but only now has the opportunity to perform it.
The song is inspired by Wowy’s childhood dream, after the times he played the game Mario saves the princess in a 4-button electronic tape. This composition has a fairy tale folk color mixed with a bit of Middle Eastern mystery. The duo performed with the support of the dance troupe.
